The instrument has an high-intensity adjustable light beam (Spot to Flood). Operation is via a recessed, pushbutton , self-cleaning, 3-position switch. Position 1 is off, position 2 is flashing/signalling and 3 is fixed on. This is set in a rugged, machined aluminum construction with knurled design. This is anodizedinside and out for improved corrosion resistance and the torch is water and shock resistant. Included is a spare lamp safely secured inside the tailcap.
